After some time, you will feel that the part of the body that you are trying to move will actually begin to move, you will feel this movement. As soon as this happens, you need to return to the instant exit to the astral plane as quickly as possible, i.e. to get up from bed. By the time such body movements manifest themselves, you will no longer have questions about how to go to the astral plane, you will already know this. If you still cannot go to the astral plane, return to manipulating individual parts of the body again. Repeat these steps over and over again until you go into the astral plane or finally wake up.

Techniques for entering the astral plane are divided into three types. Each type has its own level of awareness. Indirect method, exit immediately after sleep. Not fully awake, consciousness is in intermediate state, if directed correctly, the task can be transferred to the astral body.

If it doesn’t work, let’s move on to the next one.

Rotation technique.
Try to imagine rotation in a horizontal plane in any direction. If you experience a real or even slight sensation of rotation, you need to focus on the technique and spin even more. As soon as this sensation becomes stable and real, you need to try to separate again, starting the separation movement with the rotational sensations obtained from the technique.

Observation of images.
Suitable for those who have no problems with visualization. We begin to peer into the emptiness before our eyes without opening them. If an image appears, peer at it until it becomes realistic, after which you should try to separate from the body. You need to look through the picture, which is why it will become realistic.

Creation of an astral double.
This is a separate technique.
You can start by visualizing your hands, try to see, squeeze your palms, feel them, move your fingers and stretch your hand up or forward to reach for them.
Imagine a small cloud above you. Start condensing it and making it look like you. After this, transfer your consciousness to the copy. You will be in a double, and physical body will lie below.

The method itself is divided into two stages, the first of which is a special diet. Instructions for eating are as follows.

2. One to two hours before astral exit you should completely stop eating.

6. All liquids are healthy, as long as you don't drink too much. Alcohol and coffee on the day of astral exit are strictly contraindicated.

The main task is to distract attention from your own physical body. The given examples of visualization are the best suited for this purpose, since each time it is easier to create new mental images.

Two years later, Prescott Hall published a report of his own experiments and proposed several new visualization techniques. Unfortunately, they are not as easy to understand as the previous ones. I personally managed to use only two recommendations.

1. Imagine yourself soaring over the Himalayas. While flying, admire the landscape, feel how the air flows around your body, and, feeling free, rush into the astral plane.

2. Imagine that you have become soap bubble flying in space. Planets and other celestial bodies rush past you. Finally, the bubble shell bursts and you throw off the shackles of the physical body.

As already mentioned, Iram used a method in France similar to that obtained by Hall through astral channels. In the book "Practical Astral Projection" Iram talks about how he was caught by a hurricane. According to his descriptions, the process was painful, and he was constantly on guard, since he had no idea where his astral body would end up. By an effort of will, Iram tried not to leave the room, but the hurricane carried him “into the ethereal stream,” which he was unable to refuse to explore. Iram felt that he was moving at a monstrous speed, and at times he heard nothing except the sounds of a “roaring storm.” Overall, his body was out of control, and his position before entering the flow (sitting, standing, lying on his stomach) did not matter.

This happens due to the fact that our emotions prevail over reason and win over it every time. In fact, a person who wants to lose weight, exhausted by a diet and, in a certain sense, plunged into emotional shock, is unable to resist the sight of an appetizing dish. While eating food, this person, realizing that he is doing wrong, experiences a feeling of emotional relief.

One way or another, the volitional method is not bad, and I know many examples of how people have achieved impressive results with its help.

Take a few deep breaths and make sure your breathing is rhythmic. In this case, there is no need to focus your attention on it.

Think about the need for astral exit and clearly imagine the purpose of the journey. Be absolutely sure of own strength and ability to exit.

A method for people who are not susceptible to any other methods to enter the astral plane

Due to inhibition and complex consciousness, some people are not capable of full astral exit using conventional techniques. This method is good because there is no need to work with the patient’s consciousness, but you can directly influence the subconscious.

There are two approaches to using hypnotic trance. In the first case, a person enters a trance on his own, and in the second, he resorts to the services of an experienced hypnotist. The second method is preferable and much more effective.

However, you can use the first one, having first mastered the technique of self-hypnosis.

Many popular publications are devoted to this topic, and learning the technique will not be difficult, especially if you have already mastered the technique of progressive relaxation, which is absolutely necessary for immersing yourself in a hypnotic trance.

When entering a trance on your own, you should pay close attention to the technique of progressive relaxation. Once you feel that you can relax quickly and effortlessly, all you have to do is think about the location of your upcoming journey and imagine leaving your physical body. I usually think of the third eye area as the "gateway" to the astral plane.

In 1970, a group of parapsychologists experimented by combining progressive relaxation, sound vibrations and a rotating spiral. The spiral is quite often referred to in mystical literature as a “hypnodisc”.

You will need to mount a multi-speed electric drill with a hypnodisc to the cabinet. Turn on the most low speed rotation, sit comfortably in a reclining chair and, peering into the rotating disk, begin progressive relaxation. Personally, I manage to enter an autohypnotic state from the combination of baroque music, the sound of a drill and the rotation of a disk. Many people enter the astral plane without even completing the progressive relaxation technique.

The hypnotic method as a means of astral escape was especially popular at the turn of the twentieth century. Most famous example was published in the Journal of the Society for Psychical Research.

Dr. F experimented with what he called "traveling clairvoyance." By agreement, one of his patients was to be at home in the evening. At the appointed time time dr F. hypnotized a woman named Jane and ordered her to “visit” his patient, Mr. Eglinton, whom she not only did not know by name, but also had no idea where he lived.

So, on the doctor's orders, Jane astrally went to his patient's apartment and described exactly front door and a door knocker. The details regarding the details of the interior decoration were no less accurate, but describing the appearance of the owner of the apartment. The woman failed. She stated that she saw a fat man with an artificial leg.

The next day it turned out that Eglinton was tired of waiting, and he, having built a kind of stuffed animal on his chair from pillows and clothes, went home. Thus, Jane's description was true.

Whatever Dr. F. called his experiment, in reality this experiment was nothing more than astral travel. If Jane had used clairvoyance, the mannequin sitting in the chair would have been exposed. During an astral exit, the woman simply stated what she saw and could not distinguish a stuffed animal from a living person.

Once you become familiar with a variety of techniques, you will be able to try each of them, and perhaps, like me, you will enjoy using all the variety of ways to enter the astral plane. One of my friends struggled with the willful method of traveling for several months and eventually succeeded. It is curious that before this he admitted to himself complete absence willpower. Technique of entering the Astral plane

Lancelin gives an example of how a person who used this method was able to perform astral projection, even though at the last moment he abandoned his intention.

He underwent such training and every evening for 40 days he concentratedly thought about his project until half past one in the morning, after which he went to bed with a firm decision to release an astral double after a certain number of days. At first, the preparation went well, calmly, his will to achieve the effect did not weaken. But when the target date approached, this enthusiasm gave way to serious reflection. One of the thoughts that overwhelmed him was, “What if I can’t reincarnate back into my physical body?” On the eve of the scheduled date, under the influence of intense fear, at 10 pm he decided to give up everything and went to bed with the depressing regret that he had prepared everything for an experience that he had to abandon at the last minute.


Unwittingly, without suspecting it, he found himself in the most favorable conditions for the success of the experiment, since his nerves were extremely excited by fear and annoyance.

For an ordinary person, access to the Astral gives, at a minimum, interesting impressions.

It is possible to travel anywhere on earth, underground, in the sky and even to other planets, although the latter requires special work. Space program NASA is child's play compared to the capabilities of human consciousness. There is a lot to explore. If scientists knew and accepted all these worlds, the world would become a completely different place. And I must say that some laboratories are already very seriously engaged in research on this issue.

The impressions of traveling in the astral plane are so interesting that they are unlikely to ever be forgotten.

According to unofficial statistics, throughout life, each person has two or three full-fledged Exits. Usually we remember them as vivid, unusual dreams.

However, it is quite possible to fly to your beloved deceased grandmother or to someone simpler.

From there you can see the real world. Or the etheric layer closest to it. In the etheric layer, energy shells most completely copy the shape of physical objects and are firmly attached to them. Traveling through this layer is almost indistinguishable from traveling through the real world.
